Jasen Gibbons was born and raised on a rural Washington State farm. He was blessed with a supportive family and an environment that allowed him to spend many hours playing and learning in a large shop full of tools and toys. Jasen has two sisters who help critique every product with their sense for fashion and he also has three brothers, all close in age, who share a common interest in working hard and playing harder. “We all have a slightly competitive nature and always push each other’s talents to the next level.” Long hours on the tractor working in the dirt, followed by many more on the dirt bikes were the essentials of life. This is the lifestyle where building something out of nothing and his love and appreciation for metal and design began. Jasen’s talents and abilities were noticed right away by his High School welding teacher who really pushed his limits and the hard work paid off! He led his class as they successfully accomplished a couple of monumental projects and consequently received a large amount of national recognition.

After High School Jasen dedicated two years of his life to service in New Zealand. Being constantly aware of his environment and helping others improve their life every day, he was able to discover and understand what truly makes people happy. Then, after some friendly reminders from his parents, Jasen went off to college. It is here that a string of unfortunate life changing events took him back home to his roots where his true abilities and passion of creative design became the focus of his attention. A farm boy starting his own retail company was definitely going against the grain (no pun intended) and was not easy. There’s a lot of blood, sweat, and tears that have gone into building Dirtboy Designs. “Everything I design has very deep meaning which in turn helps me connect with so many people that feel the same way.” Jasen’s hard work and creativity has captured the attention of many and he has been awarded several design patents from the United States Patent Office.

Jasen is committed and dedicated to pushing his designs to the next level and connecting with your creative side. “There’s a lot of thought that goes into each design and I feed off the energy and excitement of others. I also love taking on the challenge when individuals tell me, It can’t be done.”

Dirtboy Designs was formed to do just that - make a statement! A bold statement that can be entirely summed up by our motto, “Live Custom!” We want to set a new trend in the way individuals think and live. We want to provide quality products with deep meaning that affect how individuals feel about themselves and their right to express their individuality. We will strive to become a name that can always be trusted and also committed to giving back to the community. We will be an example and give real meaning to the phrase, “Live Custom.” This means much more than just making custom products. It’s a statement about the way we look at life. We’re all unique and each one of us has different talents and abilities to offer to the world. We embrace our differences and believe that each individual is a customized work of art.
